Howdy munchkins!!
I have just been promoted to network maintainer at work. Considering I only been learning basic networking for about 3 weeks (self taught) I find the promotion strange as the Doctor/director of the business that offereod me the possition has a bazillion uni degrees in IT and so forth (as well as being a radiologist) and i have no training or education in the field at all. Im flattered that he feels that i will be capable of doing the job.
I was wondering if anyone with uber knowledge of IT networky stuff would be able to give me some training or help (i'll pay money/booze/hats for any assistance)? Twould be greatly appreciated.
Anyway, off to order pizza now!

Howdy all,
At the moment I'm setting up the head office for a network of Radiology Private practices..
I have a computer networky/microsoft office 2007 question: (i'm learning stuff!!)
If i have a, for example, exel spread sheet saved in the network folder, and another copy saved to my harddrive, can I link the two so if i up date the network copy it will automatic update the hardrive copy? Our network has only just been set up and is a little shakey and having multiple copies of stuff saved to hard drives is annoying and I'm up stairs and don't want to have to up date every single computer as i go along....
I wonder if this makes any sense?

And I did!! Horray... after quiting my job on the 4th I finally got my pay out... HORRAY!!.

In other news. Newyears was awesome, we spent a while with no pants on then Alex poored beer in my buttcrack! Aarons girlfriend puked in the new year.... first hearl for 2008!! Ryan put a ciggie burn in my arm because he too is retarded.
Umm... I'm obsessed with the Sims2 game... i really should be out in the sun enjoying my time off but THE SIMS!!... Maybe i'm retarded...

If there was a god, my mother would be her/him/it/them.
She just happens to have a laptop and a projector... OH YEAAAAHHHHH! LIFE SAVER!! After all other options were denied and i have 6 hours before my presentation....
Original projector explodes, manual projector has not light bulbs. Colour trasparancy printer is out of transparancies. IT guy has the shits with me cause i out smarted him with page formatting so he wont help me.
When all else fails.... mum is to the rescue... sure she can be a pain in the arse but right know she's a life saver.

If you don't want to complain about it, then good cause complain bout stuff just gets on a bus outta here and into a bowel of camel juice which is not really useful if your trying to reboot from a floopydisc. In other news, i found my zippo, it was hiding in the dryer. Its happy now.. full of ammo and cherry pie. I think i'm sposed to be really fat cause i rekon i'd look really stupid as the peguin if i were like i am now. According to my pen, even if it gives up, 'they' won't.. i have no no idea who they are, but my pen assures me they are gunna keep trying.. trying to what though? possibly kill me, this is not a good thing... does it mean my pen is also trying to kill me.. or is it just saying that if my pen runs out, "they'll" come and keepy writing for me.. a little supurfluous seeing as i'm using a key board and a computer screen.. may be they're the pixles... the mega pixles!!! AHHHHHHHH!
